Although a picture says more than a thousand words, it does not convey the smells and sounds that can be experienced while walking in the herb garden of Tamme Farm. Bees buzz among the lavenders, butterflies fly over the lush and colourful flowers, birds sing in the trees, and these smells are exquisite.<\/p>\n

In the middle of all this, the hostess of the herb garden, Heli, is waiting with the famous Good Mood Tea and freshly baked herb pies.<\/p>\n

After an inspiring walk in the herb garden, you can buy natural tea mixes, cheese jams, seasonings, pickled chillies and herbal oil made on the farm at the herb shop. It also has the largest selection of herbs in the Baltic States in spring and summer.<\/p>\n

We promise that in the middle of the map of colours, tastes and smells, everyday worries will be forgotten, and the mind will calm down.<\/p>\n

In our garden, we grow more than 500 species of spices, fragrant plants, herbs and vegetables from around the world.<\/strong> We have over 60 mints, for example, chocolate, orange, pineapple, basil, lavender, lime, tangerine and ginger mints. What a charming fragrance and taste! What an exhilarating experience!<\/p>\n

If you ask me the difference between spices and herbs<\/strong>, I will say that all spices are herbs, but not all herbs are always spices.<\/p>\n

In the Tamme Farm herb garden, You can also find interesting so-called old-fashioned<\/strong> vegetables. The cultivation of which had long been forgotten but is now in again. Our garden has different plants that are new and exciting<\/strong> for most people.<\/p>\n

Our garden is separated into two sections for medicinal plants and herbs.<\/p>\n

Every plant that grows in our herb garden<\/strong> has some food value. Using their five senses, taste, hearing, feeling, touching, and seeing, visitors can become familiar with them. The most excellent way to experience the magic of aromatic plants is to touch or pet them softly to enhance their unique scents. Some plants with a more humble appearance show their genuine character when you sample a portion of their leaf or blossom.<\/p>\n

The medicinal plant garden<\/strong> contains plants recognisable to Estonian folk medicine and those wholly unknown to us but employed in folk medicine in other countries. However, when used properly, the garden’s residents can benefit our health.<\/p>\n

While exploring, you will have enjoyable moments amid nature and learn various new things.<\/p>\n
