Catnip is a herb with aromatic leaves. Excellent honey and tea plant. Needs a sand mixture or moderately moist, well-drained soil to grow. Height approx. 70 cm. Sun to partial shade. It is not very winter hardy, but self-sowing ensures the persistence of stinging catnip in the garden.
